3. How to enable Accessibility Service
The Accessibility Service on your phone must be enabled in order to operate it using a PC keyboard and mouse. Select “Continue” when prompted to grant Accessibility permission. Then go to “Installed Apps” -> “ScreenOnPC”. (On older devices, the “Installed Apps” step may not be present.) Toggle the switch at the top to “On”, and leave the second switch unchanged.
Note: Depending on the system language, “Accessibility” may be labeled differently. For example, German: “Bedienungshifen_”; Russian: “Специальные Возможности”; Hindi: “सरल उपयोग (Simple Use)”; Chinese: “无障碍(No Obstacles)“ or “辅助功能(Auxiliary Functions)”; Japanese: “ユーザ補助(User Auxiliary)”; Polish: “Ułatwienia Dostępu”.
4. How to access Accessibility settings using other methods
One way is to firstly open the Settings of the phone. Then go to “Accessibility” -> “Installed Apps” -> “ScreenOnPC”. (On older devices, go to “Accessibility” -> “ScreenOnPC”.) Another way is to select “Accessibility” from the menu of the ScreenOnPC Server app.
5. What to do if Accessibility Service stopped working
Occasionally, Accessibility Service may not stop properly when the previous session ends. As a result, it may not respond to keyboard and mouse input when the app is restarted. To fix this, (1) Go to “Accessibility” (either from the app menu or system settings), locate the ScreenOnPC app. Toggle the switch to OFF, then toggle it back to ON.
6. How to select files on the phone for file transfer
ScreenOnPC supports file transfer between the server device and the viewer device. On the phone side, you can use either the built-in file selector, or the system file selector. Due to recent Android permission restrictions, the built-in file selector may not be available on all devices. Furthermore, when the system file selector is used, some phones do not allow selecting files from the Viewer side. In such case, files must be selected directly on the phone screen.

10. How to enable encryption
ScreenOnPC supports secured, encrypted connection between the server and the viewer. It uses the industry standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.2 protocol. When encryption is enabled, it ensures that the data remains secure, even if intercepted. To enable encryption, enable “Support Encryption” in the server settings, and set “Enable Encryption” in the viewer settings.
11. How to resolve “App content hidden from screen share”
This message is a privacy feature introduced in Android 15. It automatically hides sensitive information. To disable it, you need use the Developer Options menu. To enable Developer Options, go to Settings -> About phone, find Build number and tap it 7 times. Then go to Settings -> Developer options. Scroll down to the Apps section. Find “Disable screen share protection”, and toggle it ON. Note: depending on phone models, Developer options can be under “Settings -> System”, etc.
